Overcoming Anticipatory Anxiety: My Journey with Homeopathy"

Hi guys, so in this blog, I would like to write about anticipatory anxiety, which I kind of dealt with throughout my whole life until I found homeopathy.

Anticipatory anxiety is when you get super anxious before an event. This event could be an exam, a public speaking event, an interview, or even a social event like going away the next day. I remember as a child not being able to sleep the night before going to my favorite theme park. I used to worry so much before the classes that I couldn’t sleep the night before, and all my muscles would get tense. During the class, I used to sweat, have shaky hands, a rapid heartbeat, and a constant worry about if I could hear the noise of the stethoscope and misdiagnose a blood pressure reading in front of the whole class. On top of that, English was my second language, so I had to put in double the effort to concentrate on what the teacher was saying in case I missed something. My cortisol levels during the class were so high that sometimes I would have a sensation that my heart was coming out through my throat.

When I was taking the physical examination class, luckily, I was already two years into studying homeopathy, so what I used to do before classes was take very high doses of a homeopathic medicine, Gelsemium or Lycopodium, to deal with my physical symptoms and help me to be able to perform the physical examination on other students without having a heart attack. Gelsemium would control my trembling and my sweaty hands, and Lycopodium would help me with my confidence issues, wiping out all the belief that I was not able and confident to do the task. Trust me, I don’t think if it wasn’t for homeopathy I would have been able to pass the exam and graduate.
